Key times to watch

Once the race times are confirmed we will post key spots and times to watch all the action around the course.

Athlete lists

A list of athletes will be available to download here immediately prior to race day so you can easily identify the athletes out on course.

Lake Access

Access to the lakefront is still possible during Challenge Wanaka and it’s business as usual for the many waterfront operators. Plus it’s a great place to take a break from all the action and enjoy one of the most scenic picnic spots in the world!

Finish Line Party

Challenge Wanaka’s finish line party has become legendary – come and check out the amazing atmosphere, fireworks and music as the athletes cross the line. It all kicks off about 8.00pm.

Parking

There is additional free public parking available at the Wanaka Showgrounds and also on Pembroke Park.
